Elegance® typefaces are probably the largest collection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean (CJK) 2-byte Asian typeface collection. Hand crafted by our UniDoc's typography experts using the state of the art font tools, these fonts maintain extremely high resolution and compatibility with existing platform and language encoding scheme. These fonts target both end users and professional printing services. From TrueType to Postscript, UniDoc provides a complete solution and service to your multilingual computing need.
Our first release contains multilingual TrueType fonts collection. The release targets the multilingual desktop design market to enable users to do Asian language typesetting without any special Asian language tools/applications/system.
A special Asian langauge editing and font handling tool - UniText is provided with the purchase. UniText enables a English MacOS user to type/edit Chinese/Japanese/Korean using Elegance fonts. The used 2-byte truetype fonts can then be converted into 1-byte format. Because these converted 1-byte fonts are just like ordinary Roman fonts, they can be loaded into conventional typesetting applications, such as English version of QuarkXpress, Pagemaker, Framemaker, for further layout, output and even CJK PDF creation.
Elegance TrueType fonts are multiplatform ready. A special program - TrueKeys (limited edition) is included for converting MacOS format Elegance fonts into Windows95/98/NT format if a need for such a migration arises in the future.
We are also considering to release Elegance typefaces in the new postscript font standard: CID Postscript format.
